Entry requirements depend on the course and level. Certificate (Grade 3) courses like Hairdressing, Beauty and Tailoring accept a KCPE or KCSE certificate. Diploma-level (Level 4–6) courses require specific KCSE grades, ranging from D- and E for Level 4 up to C- and above for Level 6. Yes. Divine Mercy Kathagutari Technical Training Institute is registered to offer NITA (National Industrial Training Authority) and CDACC (Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council) accredited programmes.
The flagship programmes currently taught on campus are Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Fashion Design & Garment Making, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), and Catering & Food Production. DMKTTI is also registered to offer a wider NITA/CDACC list covering Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Building & Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Automotive Engineering, Agriculture & Environment Studies, Computing & Informatics, Business Studies & Entrepreneurship, Liberal Studies, and Hospitality/Fashion & Design.
